The Terrace (New menu!)
The Terrace is open from Friday to Sunday and public holidays from 12 till 3pm.
Please be aware that the bistro is no longer running with the A La Carte menu that was previously on offer. Instead Howard's is offering delightful regional gourmet platters consisting of local produce and house made items such as:
- Hahndorf cured meats
- House made chicken liver pate and salmon terrine
- House made dips with grilled pita bread
- Woodside Wrights cheeses
- Dolmades
(items are subject to change due to seasons and availability)
If you are vegetarian, not to worry. We can also cater for your needs.
The Pardalote Bistro located within the walls of the historic stone barn and on the covered veranda overlooking the terraced lawns, and with views of the vineyard derives its name from the small native birds that nest within the barn wall each year. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of it in spring as it flies past, busy with the demands of feeding its growing brood.
Over the years the Pardalote Bistro has built a reputation for excellence in food and service while maintaining a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our Sunday sessions run all year round and are the perfect way to spend an afternoon. With our gourmet platters, along with live music and the perfect setting, the Howard Vineyard Sunday sessions are frequently fully booked.
