Partially hand picked, fermented in 5t open top stainless steel fermentation tanks. Carbonic macerated, hand plunged and basket pressed. Put straight into 30% new French oak for 14 months.
The palate displays dark berry fruit, plum, chocolate oak and Asian spice (a typical feature of the Mt Barker sub region) Medium bodied with high natural acidity and moderately low tannin.
