2022 Howard Vineyard Sparkling Blanc De Blancs

BLANC DE BLANCS:  Wine connoisseurs know Blanc de Blanc Champagne as the epitome of finesse and elegance.  Made entirely from white wine grape varieties like Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, this sparkling is a wine drinker’s delight with its zesty and uplifting flavors.

Viticulture:  Beautiful Valley Vineyard, Charleston.  Elevation and Aspect:  450-500 AMSL with gentle slopes (5-12%) generally facing the east.

Winemaking:  The fruit was picked early from low yielding vines and at night to preserve fruit quality. Primary fermentation using traditional EC-118 champagne yeast in stainless steel, partial malo latic fermentation gives fullness but still retains freshness.  3 months on lees, then made in the traditional charmat method.  Dosage 6g/L. Dry.  Clones: Chardonnay I10V1
