Vineyard: Beautiful Valley vineyard (Charleston)

Clones: D5V12, MV6, 115,114 and 777
Winemaking: Clones are separately hand picked, 25% whole bunch ferments in small 2t batches. Hand plunged twice per day with pump overs, ensuring maximum oxygen for healthy yeast and soft pick up of colour and tannin. Aged in 100% French oak in a variety of barrel sizes for 7 months.
Nose: Vibrant cherry, strawberry and perfumed musk. Chinese 5 spice and a touch of vanilla.
Palate: A delicious combination of fruit and savoury characters. Sour cherry, fresh cut rhubarb, earthiness and delightfully soft tannin on the finish.
