The 2022 Howard Vineyard Amos Méthode Traditionnelle Blanc De Blancs. No. 4 | Harriette’s MT
Winemaking: 100% Chardonnay. The fruit was hand picked early from low yielding vines, chilled and whole bunch pressed with primary fermentation using traditional EC-118 champagne yeast. Using a mix of stainless steel and 50% barrel fermented with partial malolactic fermentation to gives fullness but still retain freshness. This wine then undergoes traditional fermentation in bottles and is kept on lees for 42 months. Disgorged March 24.
Bouquet: An aromatic profile of vibrant citrus and crisp orchard fruits—lemon, yellow pear, and red apple—complemented by the elegant, yeasty complexity of brioche and stone fruit.
Palate: Vibrant citrus and key lime flavours are layered with stone fruit, red apple and toffee. This wine showcases great structural length and fresh acidity, balanced by subtle oak and a creamy complexity. A dry, refined finish.
