Vineyard: Greenhill Road Vineyard, Piccadilly Valley
Elevation: 590 AMSL
Winemaking: Pinot Noir from one of the highest points of the Adelaide Hills. D5V12 clone was all hand picked, 25% whole bunch ferments ran hot and naturally. Hand plunged twice per day with pump overs, ensuring maximum oxygen for health yeast and soft pick up of colour and tannin. Aged in new and 2nd use French oak for 8 months. Vegan friendly, minimal So2 added.
Nose: Cherry, strawberry and perfumed musk. Chinese 5 spice and vanilla
Palate: A delicious combination of fruit and savoury characters. Sour cherry, fresh cut rhubarb, earthiness finishing with delightfully soft tannins.
